Paul Genader - Expanded Painting
Paul Genader is a painter. He graduated from The Ridgewood School of Art and Design in 1983. His studio is a half hour west of New York City.

We take resources from the earth and nature immediately begins to reclaim them. We build and the materials decay. We repair, materials wear. Eventually we demolish our structures, salvaging what we can, re-purposing materials and sites. This building, demolition, and rebuilding can be found in layers and seen in fragments. In their way, my paintings relate an ancient story, from dust thou art made, and unto dust thou shalt return.”
