The Morris Museum creates opportunities for lifelong learning, discovery, and creativity, driven by the contemporary interpretation of its Guinness Collection of Mechanical Musical Instruments and Automata as well as its general collections. The performing arts add further unique perspectives and dimensions of interpretation.

Founded in 1973, MORRIS ARTS has been fulfilling its mission of “building community through the arts” for more than 46 years.

MORRIS ARTS’ guiding principles include the belief that the arts are vital to the social fabric and economic prosperity of the area, act as a catalyst for social change, and enrich the lives of everyone in the community. Our varied programs and services serve to inspire, connect and engage, including concerts, gallery walks and public art exhibits, and support of area artists and arts organizations through funding, advocacy, and professional development.

The capture and reproduction of fine art requires a rare combination of scientific and technical knowledge as well as visual and aesthetic sensitivities. The same can be said for retouching and master printing. Due to the many and diverse skills I acquired over the years,  I find myself uniquely positioned to service my customers.

EXHIBITS - FRAMING - ART CLASSES

Speakeasy Art Gallery is located in the Boonton Art District in New Jersey and began as an arts collective formed by Paul Jach in 2001. In 2009, Speakeasy Art went from pop up exhibits in New York City to a permanent gallery space on Boonton's Main Street.

The gallery showcases the work of local and international contemporary artists. The curators at the gallery offer art collectors and enthusiasts a playful mix of Hi Art with an edge and Lowbrow with masterful technique. Speakeasy Art Gallery insures that the art it exhibits possess inviting esthetics and a desire to explore new and original ideas. Owners Paul & Kristy Jach provide an accessible and welcoming environment to anyone with a passion for the arts.

Though Speakeasy Art is foremost a gallery space, it also serves the community with youth and adult art classes, professional custom picture framing, live performances, educational workshops and events.

Internationally published and highly collected, Dwight Hiscano has been creating photographs of the American landscape for over thirty years. His prints are held in notable collections both in the U.S. and abroad, and have been presented to governors, members of congress, and community leaders in recognition for their service. His work has been featured in numerous group and solo exhibits including the Nature's Best exhibit at the Smithsonian, the National Geographic sponsored International Mountain Summit in Italy, the Capitol Rotunda, and an exhibit at the Ross Art Museum, alongside works by Winslow Homer, Thomas Hart Benton and John Marin.

Dwight's images have appeared in The New York Times, Outdoor Photographer, Nature’s Best, Nature Conservancy Magazine and Photographic Magazine, and have been featured prominently in  books, posters, calendars, websites, and annual reports in the US, Europe and Asia. He often leads photography workshops, lectures and gallery talks, and was the keynote speaker at the Garden Club of America’s Annual Horticultural Conference.

He recently opened Dwight Hiscano Gallery in Morristown, NJ.
